Tuff Rib Ag is an exposed-fastener metal roofing panel manufactured in 28-gauge Grade 80 Galvalume with a glossy finish, or 26-gauge Grade 80 Galvalume with a textured paint finish. Each panel covers 36 inches of width and is custom-cut to your specified length. It is the most widely used agricultural and residential metal roofing profile in New England.

Tuff Rib Ag is our most versatile and budget-friendly profile. Originally designed for agricultural applications, it has become a go-to choice for residential roofing and outbuildings across New England. Its exposed-fastener design makes installation straightforward, and the corrugated rib pattern provides excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Available in your choice of two finishes: a glossy 28-gauge coil or a textured 26-gauge finish.

One profile across three options — the Glossy, Textured, and White Liner panels are all the same Tuff Rib Ag rolled shape. They differ only in gauge and finish: 28-ga glossy, 26-ga textured, or 29-ga white liner. Screws seat in the flat valleys between the 3/4" ribs.
Gold, Patina Green, Avocado Green, and Dark Blue are premium colors available at additional cost on Galvalume panels. Free metal samples available for 100% color matching.

The White Liner Panel is the same Tuff Rib Ag profile in a thinner 29-gauge metal, available only in white, with a lesser exterior-grade paint and no warranty. It's designed for bright white interiors — ceilings and walls in warehouses, shops, and barns — priced for secondary applications.
Every trim piece is fabricated to your exact specifications in matching panel colors — not a generic off-the-shelf approximation.
Tuff Rib Ag is available in two options: 28-gauge Grade 80 Galvalume with a glossy paint finish, or 26-gauge Grade 80 Galvalume with a textured paint finish. Both use the same Tuff Rib profile — the gauge and finish are the only difference.
Each Tuff Rib Ag panel covers 36 inches (3 feet) of width. That means 1 linear foot of panel equals 3 square feet of coverage.
For roofs, purlins must be no more than 24 inches on center (16" OC is also fine, as is direct application over plywood sheathing). For vertical sidewalls, purlins can be up to 36 inches on center.
Screws seat in the flat plane right beside the rib — never through the rib itself. Fastening through the rib crushes the round top and creates a poor seal. The flat valley between ribs is approximately 7 inches wide with modern EPDM-washered screws rated for 40+ years.
Yes. Tuff Rib Ag is widely used on residential homes, garages, barns, sheds, and agricultural buildings across New England. It's the most common exposed-fastener profile in the region.
Every Tuff Rib Ag panel carries two manufacturer warranties: a 40-year WeatherXL paint warranty (covering both the glossy and textured finishes) and a 25-year Red Dot Galvalume metal warranty.
